DONT count me in. ok, so this post is just going to be a mini rant because things like this really gets up my nerves. this is a pet peeve i can really never get over. i dont know about you and where you are/go/live, but wherever i am, theres always people - namely kids in high school and early years of uni/college/whatever - who carry classical guitars around. by the neck. swinging it around. without a case to protect it. totally battered. and when they play it, lets just say... i think they just let off from the couple of chords picked up from a year 8 music class. it doesnt sound very great, fucks up your guitar and ITS NOT SOMETHING THAT MAKES YOU LOOK COOL AND DANDY. people would know whether youre a real musician by the way you treat your instruments, not by flailing it around like you know how to play it just because you own one. for one; it down grades guitars in general. it makes it over rated. i personally play the guitar, but i play the steel string acoustic and electric. dont see me going around swinging my instruments like its my swagger. secondly; it looks stupid. it takes up one of your two hands and they way they have treated it looks run down and ruined as if they dont care that its an instrument, more that it makes them look cool. it just looks like they stole a guitar from the music store room of their high school. i dont even know how this "trend" even started... ♥ moini Labels: rant + (1) click here if youre super cool(:9:58 PM

I like staying at home most of the time, not really a city goer or late-night partier. I apologise if that sounds vaguely mundane and boring to you. I like to read and just being with my guitar. I would enjoy nothing better than to sit at home with donuts, fairy bread, pizza and sushi to watch movies. Other than that, i wouldn’t mind occasional festivals and visits to the theme park. When I buy DVD's, I always get the 2 disc editions, because I love all the behind the scene footages - it amazes me everytime :) I like seeing new things and experiencing it - just for the thrill of it. But, im not great with fears so I tend to shy away from those… |
