mems and thems. hello you, today when i was out cruising around the shops with my mom because i had nothing better to do but to drag my mom out with me LOL, i bought a random photo album. only because it was pretty cheap for one that can hold 360 photos and was really quite pretty :) i said it was randomly bought because i seriously dont have many photos to put in there - let alone fill up the album HAHA well, at least not recent ones anyway... and by recent i mean for the past three years. HAHA. it feels kind of weird and sad actually. everything that has happened, all the fun stuff - it's all in my head, but nothing is documented for evidence. memories only in my head which i would eventually forget and not have anything to jolt it back for good times sake. even though highschool wasnt fantastic, it still had some moments that did make it seem durable and exciting - though that was limited too... the photo album also made me feel old. when i look back, sometimes i feel im growing up too fast, even if my age does tell quite a convincing story that im AGING LIKE CRAZY. things have just started for me and they seem like they are coming up fast. imagine five years later... i dont really want to grow up haha. i want to stay legitimately naive for a while longer. my birthday is in about two weeks and i really dont want to celebrate to be honest, haha. that just chalks up another year of lectures on acting my age. i still feel like im 15 LOL, at least sometimes act like a 15 year old... this is kind of a boring post haha, but i just felt i needed to blog about it :/ ohhh and i was also listening to aaron carter BAM nostalgia, and dayum that wracks me. how things have changed, how society has changed and how i have changed. s club 7, bwitched, nsync, hanson, spicegirls, old britney spears, old backstreet boys, five, mercury 4, gel pens, furbys that creeped me out, cameras that took film, audio tapes, walkmans, VCRs, nintendo 64s, stickers, rollerblades, tamagotchis, trolls - NO not internet trolls LOL, non-coloured chunky gameboys, pokemon this/digimon that, yoyos, OMG I REMEMBER TAZOS! ultimate collectables from chip packets... now theres mixed emotions swimming in my brain and toying with my feelings. it gives me the shivers, but in a good way-ish... and bad...  oh donuts, you tease :3 and right on queue is this quote that i stumbled upon on tumblr just now: “Too many people grow up. I like staying at home most of the time, not really a city goer or late-night partier. I apologise if that sounds vaguely mundane and boring to you. I like to read and just being with my guitar. I would enjoy nothing better than to sit at home with donuts, fairy bread, pizza and sushi to watch movies. Other than that, i wouldn’t mind occasional festivals and visits to the theme park. When I buy DVD's, I always get the 2 disc editions, because I love all the behind the scene footages - it amazes me everytime :) I like seeing new things and experiencing it - just for the thrill of it. But, im not great with fears so I tend to shy away from those… |
