SOUNDWAVE WAS OFF THE HOOK!!! I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW INCREDIBLE SOUNDWAVE WAS ON SUNDAY! yes, i know it was two days ago, but i had my first day of uni yesterday and it practically drained the rest of my remaining energy Soundwave left me with. so anyway, on sunday morning - no, wait. lets start with saturday night. ok, so on saturday night i was so hyped that i seriously could not sleep properly. knowing i was supposed to get up a bit earlier the next morning to prep for Soundwave, i still manage to fall asleep at a later-than-my-usual bedtime of 2.30am on the sunday. 7 hours later me and cecee took the t-way to livo, so i can get a white shirt... LOL long story-in-a-story short, i was completely clad in b-l-a-c-k, so i went to get a white shirt (they only had XL sizes TT and it looked like i was wearing a dress - comment supplied by dear friend cecee) i saw on saturday and cecee went to get a bag, because her one was tiny as and there was one on sale at sportsgirl. win-win. oh and im so glad i bought the white shirt, coz when it came to signings for I See Stars i didnt have anything for them to sign on... hence the convenience of this white precious. right now, its as dirty as hell and im too paranoid to wash it incase the signing fades, but i suppose ill go over it and then wash it - hand wash it... well, what can i say but... BEST. DAY. OF. MY. LIFE!!! I See Stars, The Maine, Mayday Parade, We The Kings, Silverstein, The Amity Affliction - were FREAKING GREAT! Blessthefall and Asking Alexandria tore up the mosh, but it was BMTH who O-W-N-E-D the place. i mean, the moshpit went mad crazy and it was farking amazing… minus the people who were crowd surfing… we were always at the front two lines so it was awesome, the experience is exhilarating and its definitely amazing seeing these bands perform. however we couldnt really see Iron Maiden, had to stand like 987654567 kilometers away because we couldnt get into the mosh and things arent fun unless youre at the front of the mosh. but, they SEALED the deal. the day went by so quickly ): it kind of annoyed me that most of the acts clashed in time, which meant we couldnt see everyone we wanted to and had to stay close to the stages of our most prefered acts (it gets packed out so quickly) and we had to buy tickets for signings… even though it was for charity, but they couldve told us instead of telling us theyre sold out. MERCH MERCH MERCH! :D yeah, i kinda of went a little nuts with the merch and bought three shirts for $40 bucks each :S its hard... coz once i bought one, i wanted another, but i had to stop myself or else i wont have the molla to travel to uni the next day... im definitely set on going next year, hope the lineup is as great! I like staying at home most of the time, not really a city goer or late-night partier. I apologise if that sounds vaguely mundane and boring to you. I like to read and just being with my guitar. I would enjoy nothing better than to sit at home with donuts, fairy bread, pizza and sushi to watch movies. Other than that, i wouldn’t mind occasional festivals and visits to the theme park. When I buy DVD's, I always get the 2 disc editions, because I love all the behind the scene footages - it amazes me everytime :) I like seeing new things and experiencing it - just for the thrill of it. But, im not great with fears so I tend to shy away from those… |
