Gossip Girl? whats that? you guys are prob assuming from the title of this post, that i have not seen an episode of gossip girl in my life. if so, you are quite correct. although i havnt laid my eyes on an episode, it doesnt mean i havnt heard whats it about and the whole story line of a dramatic series of bitching and harmful gossiping. indeed, this is going to be another ranting blog, because now adays what i see and hear about someone from someone else is really ticking me off, like in magazines i read about "real" life stories about how they destoyed another persons life and that their lives are now made into a tv show. PAH-lease. or myb its partially because some of the things i hear is about the people i know quite well and im pretty sure the things i hear about them is 100% not true. myb because the person i heard the rumour off ( or knownly came from ) ADORES the series of gossip girl and we dont need supersonic eye sight to see for a fact that they are acting and bitching like that just so they can look cool coz it came from a popular television series. well, sorry im gonna bring about a short news flash that.. NO IT IS NOT COOL! you can be hurting the subject of the gossip, destroying their reputation aswel as yours and in case you havnt noticed its a form of bullying. evn if the gossip is true and you know it, i think you should keep it to yourself, whether they were the ones who told you or not. if it is the person that told you, i would recommend that person to find a better and a more trustworthy friend. also i know people who take the littlest incidental "drama" in their life and refer themselves as "i am serena" or "i feel like serena". for example, so you kissed, not evn had sex with, your friends - not evn your besties - boyfriend and you perfectly knew they are going out, what have you become? serena?? NO. gosh. it just makes you look like an attention seeker who wants everyone to know what you have done, which will not just hurt your friend, or worse,bestie, but give the people who know about this little bit of exaggerated gossip to have an impression of you as a slut. and once agen, whether its true or not. as for the spreader of the bitching and gossip, they just continue to spit out ungallant verbal diarrhoea, just so they would seem like the popular one who just happens to know everything about everyone, and that people would go to them to give the attention to retrieve what is NOT theirs. well i guess they thought pretty wrong didnt they?. they may have gained a few fans who adore a generous spinch of gossip, but what else have they gained? nothing, actually for a few seconds of fame they will pay a considerable amount of consequences of gaining enemies, complaints and a bad reputation, and pretty soon people are gonna start spreading rumours about them. not that they have gained nothing, they are left with nothing. actually they did gain..the negatives! Gossip Girl sounds like a pretty good drama to watch and discuss about. from what ive said im not saying that a good tv show will bring bad influence to people ( for the people smart enof to know that its not reality anyway ), i mean we all need a dash of brilliant tv to satisfy our boring lives. yes, it is quite good to be a television series, but myb people should leave these mediotic* unrealistic dramas on tv and away from the real world. im not exactly planning to watch Gossip Girl soon, not because i think will be influenced.LOL i not that stupid, its because i have maths and prelims to worry about.LOL GG! *mediotic: based on media, only existing in tv. I like staying at home most of the time, not really a city goer or late-night partier. I apologise if that sounds vaguely mundane and boring to you. I like to read and just being with my guitar. I would enjoy nothing better than to sit at home with donuts, fairy bread, pizza and sushi to watch movies. Other than that, i wouldn’t mind occasional festivals and visits to the theme park. When I buy DVD's, I always get the 2 disc editions, because I love all the behind the scene footages - it amazes me everytime :) I like seeing new things and experiencing it - just for the thrill of it. But, im not great with fears so I tend to shy away from those… |
